New direct flights between Brisbane and Bangkok will boost Queensland tourism and provide travellers with a direct link to the Thai capital and the more than 140 destinations found in AirAsia’s global network.

AirAsia is a proud sponsor of the Brisbane Broncos and as a special surprise for guests on the first flight from Brisbane to Bangkok, members from the team will be on hand to help them check in, sign autographs and take selfies.

Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) secured the services with Queensland Government support under the Attracting Aviation Investment Fund (AAIF), along with partners Tourism and Events Queensland and Brisbane Marketing.
