AirPlus International and Tramada Systems further optimise business travel

Leading corporate travel payments provider AirPlus International has partnered with travel management system provider Tramada Systems to offer more convenience for travel agencies and better quality service for corporates.

Tramada’s mission is to automate travel workflows to increase agents’ productivity and optimise solutions and integration with the entire travel ecosystem. Tramada provides plug-and-play modules that reduce manual handling and ensure seamless feeds between applications.

With the most recent release of the tramada® technology platform, corporate travel agencies are now able to capture better quality data for AirPlus customers, improving the management of their travel programs.

The tramada AirPlus File Export now offers 10 variable data fields to AirPlus customers, giving them unmatched capability to capture the data a company needs for expense management. Companies benefit from configurable data fields as they are able to capture specific information for each transaction that assists to identify and code it for accounts payable and the general ledger. This includes project and matter numbers, cost centres and authorisation codes. Companies now have full flexibility on the data they require their TMC to capture in order to simplify their reconciliation process.

Setting up customers with the appropriate data is also made easier for the travel agency, rendering a streamlined collection of data. The agent will now be able to flexibly select the field configuration based on each client’s requirements.
