Luxury travel company Abercrombie & Kent announces a fascinating new journey designed and accompanied by the company’s Founder Geoffrey Kent.
Aboard its exclusively chartered Boeing 757-200ER jet this adventure spans the globe from ‘The Tropics to the Arctic’. Just 50 privileged guests will start the adventure in eye-opening Colombia, continuing on to Easter Island, French Polynesia and the Solomon Islands plus the Philippines for whale shark viewing and an extraordinary experience on the Mongolian steppe.
The itinerary takes in some of Uzbekistan’s rich heritage in Tashkent and the 2,000-year-old city of Samarkand before hitting St Petersburg and a private visit to the Hermitage Museum. The journey then heads to Greenland for whale-watching, dog sledding and a toast to the midnight sun and far-flung adventures, before a glittering grand finale in New York City.
This style of travel makes it possible to experience far more than is possible on a conventional itinerary — without sacrificing comfort and convenience. Guests on A&K’s privately chartered jet bypass long customs and security lines, arrive in remote destinations that larger airlines don’t serve, and come and go on a timetable dictated by the itinerary – not an airline’s convenience. On board A&K’s private jet, travellers enjoy first class seating, which extends into a fully lie-flat bed.
