A new hosted journey in the company of Bogotá expat and foreign correspondent, Richard McColl will reveal why the country is Latin America’s best kept secret, with 11 days spent exploring the country’s major cities and its abundant natural attractions.
Guests will learn about two of Colombia’s most famous cultural assets – renowned author Gabriel García Márquez and the great artist Fernando Botero – as well as its famed coffee production, native flora and fauna and colonial history. Itinerary highlights include Bogota’s Gold Museum, the charms of colonial Villa de Leyva, the lush landscapes of Valle de Cocora, the newly happening vibe of Medellin and glorious Cartagena on the Caribbean.
