A&K delivers flood relief in Myanmar

A&K Philanthropy has mobilised the A&K team in Myanmar to deliver essential supplies to flood affected areas in the country. The floods are the worst in 100 years with at least 46 people dead and more than 210,000 affected. Four areas in the country have been declared disaster zones and many others have been cut off by high waters or damaged roads.

Sujata Raman, A&K Managing Director comments, “Thanks to our regional network and the presence of our office on the ground in Yangon, Myanmar, A&K can swiftly deliver relief where it’s most needed”. A&K has been operating in Myanmar since 1997.
