Starting off in Puglia, one of Italy’s most appealing and unspoiled regions, there are daily walks of between 5 and 8km with highlights along the way including some extraordinary Baroque and Renaissance architecture and the distinctive yet simple conically rooved white stone huts calledtrulli. With a rich and bountiful cuisine the journey includes delicious meals of regional specialities in local eateries with plenty of time to walk it off.
After seven days in Puglia the walking continues on the stunning Amalfi Coast where the cliff side landscapes are breathtaking and local artisan visits are a highlight.
The journey is hosted by Italian native, Emanuela Spadoni, and throughout the trip accommodation is in boutique style boltholes full of character and local charm.
