The visitors from Krasnodar and Rostov-On-Don, both important cities in the southern part of Russia, stayed at the hotel’s well-appointed renovated rooms, appreciated the hospitality and praised the level of services they experienced.

The familiarization trip was held to foster close ties with potential customers and to introduce the Fam Groups to the enhanced products of the property.  The Fam Tour is very useful for the Tour Operators and Travel Agents as it increases their product knowledge and experience the product first hand so that they can effectively sell it to their clients.

Moussa El Hayek, Chief Operating Officer, Al-Bustan Centre and Residence said: “We are pleased to welcome the tour operators from major CIS regions to our property. CIS is one of the important feeder markets and this is reflected in the increased number of tourists coming to Dubai every year.  The Russian market plays an important role in the growth and expansion of tourism industry in Dubai which continues to be a most in demand tourist and travelers destination in CIS”.

El Hayek added, “We have a long association with tour operators and travel agents from CIS States who recognize the value of our business and have shown desire to win greater market share.  With the enhanced amenities and services, we hope to get more traffic from those states.”

The Fam Group viewed the Hotel’s facilities that feature rooms and suites furnished with modern guest amenities such as a 39-inch flat screen LED television and high speed Wi-FI internet access in all the rooms and public areas.  The beds are topped with down comforters, custom duvets, cotton-rich linen and plenty of fluffy pillows for a great night’s sleep and total relaxation.  Beautifully designed carpets and curtains and chic furniture are added for style and luxury including upgraded facilities in the kitchenette.   Al Bustan Centre and Residence also boasts an up-market lobby with a spacious Reception Area, Business Centre, Meeting Rooms, Fountain Café and Restaurant, Food Court, Pastry Shop, Coffee Lounge, Executive Club Lounge, Health Club, Swimming Pool, Tennis Courts and Travel Desk sections.  The attractive and tastefully done décor blends with the signature Arabian elements.

According to the Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment, tourists from Russia are among the top spenders, leaving behind around AED 5 billion a year in Dubai. Russian tourists also rank second after UK among tourists from Europe who spend a lot of money in hotels, food outlets and shopping malls above the cost of their trips.
