Al Bustan Centre & Residence, the popular hotel-apartment among tourists and businessmen in the heart of Dubai, recently conducted an Employee Satisfaction Survey to gauge the satisfaction level of employees throughout the organization, compare the results with the score from the previous year and identify long term practices that need to be implemented to improve organizational performance.

Employee satisfaction survey is a fantastic way for managers to understand what their teams think of their jobs and about the organization. The motive behind conducting the survey was to gain 3-4 actionable points and implement activities based on the survey to improve employee engagement, increase their involvement and to enhance the business performance.

Moussa El Hayek, Chief Operating Officer of Al Bustan Centre and Residence, said: “Employee satisfaction is a very important element at any workplace but is seldom discussed. Happy and satisfied employees are likely to be more engaged and productive which will reflect on your company’s topline. At Al Bustan Centre & Residence, we believe in enhancing management-employee relations, assessing employee opinions that would otherwise be unreported and create an environment for all of us to flourish in our career path. Hence it was important for us to conduct this survey and measure how further we have raised our profile as compared to the scores received last year.”

The survey focused to measure the employee satisfaction level in 9 different dimensions, namely, organizational morale, job satisfaction, human resource support, organizational communications, organizational leadership, workplace benefits, pay and benefits, internal co-operation and customer service.

Based on the survey results, actionable items have been designed to put in place to enhance employee and guest satisfaction.
