Al Fanar Restaurant and Café, the UAE’s first and only restaurant offering traditional Emirati cuisine in a themed rustic setting, has won a great deal of appreciation for hosting a dinner reception for foreign media representatives invited to participate in the UAE’s 43rd National Day celebrations.
The National Media Council presented special Appreciation Certificates to Mr Hashem Al Marzouqi, Principal, Al Fanar Restaurant and Café, and to Mr Jamal Hamdi, Manager, Al Fanar Restaurant and Café, for their exceptional support in sponsoring the media dinner.
Mr Hashem Al Marzouqi, Principal, Al Fanar Restaurant and Café, said he was immensely proud to receive the honour from the National Media Council.
He said, “The honour of hosting a team of international media personalities was an exciting experience, especially because it was held on the occasion of UAE’s 43rd National Day. It gave us a chance to present the Emirati cuisine to the world, which was a celebration in itself.”
The restaurant’s popularity is spreading fast among residents and visitors alike. Authentic Emirati cuisine, exceptional hospitality and ideal location, both in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, have made it a prime choice for families, businessmen and groups looking for that perfect place to host their special events as well.
