New to international leisure travellers this year is Alamo Rent A Car’s range of pickup trucks, which are suitable for up to four adults. These vehicles cater for unique needs while delivering serious attitude on the road – ideal for driving in the mountains, traversing desert landscapes or for transporting heavy loads. Standard pickups available in the range are the Nissan Frontier and the Toyota Tacoma, with the Premium featured pickup being the Ford F150, with Chevy Silverado and RAM 1500 as alternatives.
A great addition to the current Ford Mustang convertible fleet (Standard convertible category), is the expansion of the categories, to include Intermediate and Compact. The featured Intermediate convertibles for 2019 include a Mini Cooper Convertible and a Volkswagen Beetle Convertible, whilst the featured Compact convertible is the Mazda Miata RF, with the Mazda Miata soft top as an alternative, both with a low profile and sleek design.
All the above vehicles feature Automatic transmission, AM/FM, Air Conditioning, Power Locks, Power windows, Cruise Control and Power Mirrors, with the Compact and Intermediate convertibles also having tilt wheels.
Pickups are available to hire now from Miami, Orlando, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Denver airport locations, with convertibles available in California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii. These models are eligible for Alamo’s Choice programme, which offers travellers the option of choosing their car model and colour within their desired category from available vehicles at the hire location. The Choice programme is available at all major gateway airport locations in the USA.
