Aleenta Phuket Takes Culinary Creativity To The Edge With Launch Of New Waterfront Fine Dining Destination

Three highly astute hospitality minds and one woman’s vision have combined to create THE EDGE, Aleenta Phuket-Phang Nga’s new high-end gourmet restaurant concept and the superior dining experience on the island tourist mecca.

The stunningly chic and stylish new absolute waterfront dining destination perched upon greater Phuket’s best kept secret, pristine Natai beach in Phang Nga, began as the long-cherished dream of Aleenta Phuket’s owner and operator, Anchalika Kijkanakorn.

Now it has come to fruition with the assistance of Aleenta Phuket’s mercurial and brilliant combination of Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef along with the AHMS philosophy of focusing on the F&B product to enhance the experience of every traveller.

Breathtakingly beautiful vistas over the white sands and azure waters of Natai beach, THE EDGE delivers world-class gourmet menus built on the freshest locally-sourced ingredients, organic produce, innovation, artistic presentation and the lauded culinary talents of the F&B team, served with a hint of James Bond romance and panache.

“Phuket was crying out for a new and improved gourmet dining experience and we have worked hard to create something different and that will really give diners something to talk about,” Ms Kijkanakorn said. “It has truly been a team effort and what has been created over this time is a real achievement.”

THE EDGE is a monument to modern beachfront fine dining, plating works of art each evening that explore nuances of texture and colour, flavour and scent – juxtaposed, complementary and daring new uses of ingredients.

Innovative cooking techniques propel Thai-influenced fine dining to the leading edge of the culinary arts. Pure Andaman vistas burnish the plated magic, which is served up daily at lunch and dinner, indoors and al fresco, in a casually elegant ambience.

Chef Alex and his team combined their epicurean passion and philosophies to provide diners and guests with an eclectic yet sumptuous collection of dishes that best typifies what a “Forward Thinking and Contemporary Cuisine” is all about.

Connoisseurs and foodies will be feted with The EDGE’s inspiring selection of delights ranging from timeless Thai and Asian influence to, expressive innovative, culinary for dinner, incorporating a variety of classic favourites utilizing the finest ingredients and the island’s freshest, seasonal produce – presented through the Chef’s menu of luscious Intro, Aquatic, Flora & Fauna and Finale choices.

“We want our diners at Aleenta to feel fun, relaxed and very social,” says Chef Jean Louis Leon, Aleenta Phuket Phang Nga’s iconic Director of Kitchens who has been meeting and exceeding the culinary needs and desires of visitors to Aleenta.

The restaurant’s modern atmosphere invites a stylish crowd looking for a sophisticated hideaway, while its casual attitude and variety of dining options make all feel welcome-be it day or night.

THE EDGE caters for discerning wining and dining aficionados, families with children as well as couples and newly-weds looking for the perfect avenue for a romantic rendezvous, and the singletons in search of inspiration. It also offers a sophisticated bar, lounge and a multi-functional rooftop space for exclusive moments for a small group.

LUNCH
Diners and guests are encouraged to play a more active role, complemented with wider epicurean options for their lunch experience by offering not only a buffet with salads, cheeses and various desserts but also a well-thought of A la carte menu. There will be an open counter self-service food choices, a live cooking station with daily specials and an exciting A la carte menu.

DINNER 
When night falls, The EDGE also transforms. It is when we take out the white table cloths, light up the candles, and provide our guests with a romantic and full fine dining experience, including an exquisite selection of local and international wines. This is where Chef Alex and his team encourage diners to experience a culinary interplay and exercise their power of choice. Diners are free to select as well as mix and match their preferred textures and tastes.

TIPPLE (BAR)
With a lounge and bar area by the beach, a swim-up pool bar and a rooftop, guests may revel in Earth, Water and Air. The EDGE’s trained barmen will add the extra Fire to your relaxed afternoon cocktail break or your pre or post-dining delight. Our Cocktail menu includes specialty cocktails as well as exclusive tipples including Aleenta flavoured Soda and the luxurious Black Ivory Coffee.

Lunch: from 12:00nn to 4pm
Dinner: from 6.30pm to 10pm
