On the back of a strong year of growth for MICE business from Australia, Hawaii Tourism Oceania will have an expanded presence at this year’s AIME (booth 2832).

In addition to representatives from Hawaii Tourism Oceania, Oahu, Maui Nui (including Maui, Lanai and Molokai), Kauai, and Hawaii; the Big Island, the stand will also host senior representatives from Fair Wind & Hula Kai, Halekulani, Hawaiian Airlines, Hilton Hotels Hawaii, Hyatt Resorts Hawaii, The Kahala Hotel & Resort, The MODERN Honolulu, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Waikiki, Turtle Bay Resort and two well known DMC organisers, Kathy Clarke and MC&A Inc.

Hawaii Tourism MICE representative Holly Ballard said “In the wake of a large overall increase (+104%) of MICE arrivals in 2013 versus 2012, there has never been a better time to plan a MICE event to one of our beautiful Hawaiian Islands.”

Ballard went on to say “One major trend emerging so far in 2014 is the growth in group enquiries to the Neighbour Islands which means the PCOs can tailor make a very unique and unforgettable experience for their clients that ‘ticks all the boxes’.
