limestone-clay marl that delivers minerality and clarity to their wines. Carrying a set of standards in its vineyard practices as well as vinification in stainless steel tanks, the wines produced are distinctively fresh and crisp, pure and clear.

Altaya Wines is proud to carry various ranges where each blend and varietal has complexity and finesse. For whites, the powerful yet harmonious Mario Schiopetto Bianco is a blend of two different grapes: Chardonnay and Tocai Fruilano, a classic grape native to Collio Goriziano. Schiopetto also produces wine with pure grape varietal from Collio DOC like the intense and aromatic Pinot Bianco, produced with 100% Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Grigio, produced with 100% Pinot Grigio that is well-structured, with zesty citric character.

The reds from Schiopetto are beautiful as well. The Rivarossa Rosso, under the classification of IGT Rosso Venezia Giulia, is elegantly structured which defines a historic assemblage of the vineyards grown with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes.
