image010ALTO, the Hong Kong restaurant taking diners to great heights, is now officially open on the top floor of the brand new V Point tower in Causeway Bay. Breath-taking views of the city are accompanied by a contemporary grill-centric menu with a modern twist as influences from France and Asia promise to heat up the kitchen. With the interior design crafted by Design Research Studio (DRS), the architectural arm of acclaimed product designer Tom Dixon, ALTO promises to be anything but ordinary.

Guests’ senses will be stimulated by refined contemporary cuisine crafted by Executive Chef Michael Boyle. Honing his culinary skills at renowned Las Vegas restaurants including Bouchon by Thomas Keller at the Venetian and the Michelin-starred Bradley Ogden at Caesars Palace, the former head chef of Bistecca Italian Steakhouse has created a seasonal menu driven by quality. Selecting the finest grill items for his patrons, ALTO’s guests can choose from superior USDA Prime and Argentinian grass-fed beef char-grilled to perfection, French-and-Asian inspired dishes including Carbonara Macaroni and an eclectic array of starters, side dishes and salads, such as Crispy Pig Ears served with Thai-spiced dipping sauce. Decadent desserts with finesse, artisanal cocktails and a superb range of wines from some of the world’s most respected vineyards will serve to satisfy gastronomists.

For intimate gatherings, Hong Kongers and visitors to the city need look no further, as a private champagne room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Victoria Harbour, a bespoke menu and personal service from Chef Boyle is on the menu.

Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio introduces its first restaurant project in Asia; the 95-seat venue offering extraordinary dining experiences. Inspired by ALTO’s restaurant grill and the views of mountains, sea and sky, the practice of alchemy and the four classical elements of earth, air, fire and water are called upon as the interior design theme. A monochrome backdrop frames expansive views of Victoria Harbour under a canopy of 220 signature gold Mini Melt lights. Blackened timber table tops, molten metal brass fittings, green marble and terrazzo stone add to the glamour of this high-profile space.

Fuelled by Dining Concepts, an established Hong Kong-based restaurant group with over 24 concepts, ALTO presents a stunning location to embrace uninterrupted views across Hong Kong while indulging in a pleasurable dining experience. To go from the ordinary to the extraordinary, visit ALTO.
