American Airlines Names Thomas Scruby As Commercial Director Of Hong Kong And Offline Markets

American Airlines today announced that it has appointed Thomas Scruby as Commercial Director of Hong Kong and offline markets (Macau, Taiwan, Southern China and South East Asia).

Based in Hong Kong, Thomas will oversee all sales and commercial activities for American Airlines across these markets. 

Thomas joins American from oneworld partner LATAM Airlines Group where he served as Asia Commercial Director, overseeing the development of commercial strategy for Hong Kong and Pan-Asia markets. Prior to that, he was the Head of Commercial- Airline Representation at Hello World Travel Group in Australia, where he gained channel and corporate sales account management experience. In addition, he also previously worked with British Airways for 11 years in different roles including revenue and pricing management, market analysis and operational research, where he was awarded the top performance rating and the Analyst of the Year.
