This fun afternoon activity took place at the resort’s stretch of white sand beach overlooking the glistening waters of the Indian Ocean. It provided an opportunity for families to spend quality time together whilst giving back to those in need.

For a registration fee of just IDR 150,000 Net per person, every participant received an exclusive water bottle and enjoyed an hour-long session of yoga. Healthy SuperFoodsRX refreshments were also be available to ensure that everyone remained hydrated and energized throughout the event.

The class was conducted by the resort’s resident Wellness Specialist, Jitendra Pokhriyal, who hails from the birthplace of yoga in India. He was supported on stage by members of the Westin Yoga Club by demonstrating gentle stretching and synchronized breathing exercises to promote physical and spiritual well-being.

UNICEF estimates that 1,400 children die each day from diseases caused by dirty water and poor sanitation, the partnership has committed to provide all children, everywhere in Asia Pacific, with access to clean water and basic sanitation.

“The response to this charity event was overwhelming, especially as we decided to do something totally different from our usual music concert. Although yoga is a niche initiative, it is essential to Westin’s brand philosophy of preserving wellness through travel.
