Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas have been recognized by the Condé Nast Johansens 2020 Luxury Spa Awards for Excellence with two prestigious accolades. 

Anantara Spa at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara was awarded Best Spa Facilities and Anantara Spa at Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort in Sri Lanka was celebrated for Best Spa Experience. Both awards apply to spas across Asia, Indian Ocean and Middle East.

Created to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across Соndé Nаѕt Јоhаnѕеnѕ’ collection of recommended spas, hotels and resorts worldwide, the Awards of Excellence are based on responses from online voting, guest feedback, and local expert reports drawn from the hotels featured on the Соndé Nаѕt Јоhаnѕеnѕ website and spa guides.

A total of four Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas were shortlisted for the Соndé Nаѕt Јоhаnѕеnѕ 2020 Luxury Spa Awards of Excellence. In addition to final winners, Anantara Spa at Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara was nominated for Best Treatment Menu, and Anantara Spa at Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort was shortlisted for Best Destination Spa.

Following an online vote by public, feedback from guests and local expert reports, Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort – Tangalle, Sri Lanka and Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara – Doha, Qatar were revealed as the successful winners in their respective categories Best Spa Experience and Best Spa Facilities.
