Anantara under the brand Amritara has big plans for growth

EGT mediaTVWhile Anantara Hotels and Resorts only started in 2005, it had a vision to be the leading boutique hotel management and development company in India, with the company established to offer a chain of what they describe as “Experience-driven Boutique Resorts and Private Hideaways” across India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and South East Asia.

image001Part of the C&C Alpha Group which has had a successful record of partnering with some of the leading travel & hospitality brands in the Indian Subcontinent, including Ananda in the Himalayas, Ista (IHHR) and Air Deccan, the group has diversified interests in hospitality and tourism projects in India and Europe, with their scope of services including design, development and management of hospitality assets under the brand Amritara.

Focussed on the leisure travel segment the company says that it has an accent on providing its guests with rejuvenating, real life experiences, with Amritara hideaways classified into the following categories:

  1. Lifestyle Centric
  2. Nostalgic Vintage Journeys
  3. Spiritual Experiences
  4. Outdoor Bound

They currently have two operational properties in Kerala, one operational property in Karnataka and one operational property in Uttar Pradesh, with by 2015, they expect to have over 15 operational properties across India.
