Angelini At Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong Presents Guest Chef Alessandro Negrini

Angelini at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong welcomes Alessandro Negrini, chef of the renowned Michelin two-starred Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia in Milan, Italy, to delight Hong Kong gastronomes with his specially designed lunch and dinner menus between 29 March and 1 April 2017.

Born in 1978 in Caspoggio Valmalenco, Italian native Alessandro Negrini is a talented young chef who is passionate about showing high-quality, contemporary culinary craftsmanship while conserving local traditions and history.  In 2014, his dedication has brought him the accolade of “Best Chef” by the Identità Golose, a recognised culinary organisation honouring top Italian chefs who blend authentic techniques with modern methods.

Chef Alessandro is also keen on using the freshest and most delicate local ingredients.  Having a great respect for original flavours, he designs recipes that bring out the ingredients’ distinctive tastes in a most unique way.

Upon graduation from a hotel management school in Sondrio, Chef Alessandro started his career at the Palace Hotel in St. Moritz and apprenticed at the Gallia Palace in Tuscany before working at the Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia for three years.  He then moved to the Domaine de Châteauvieux in Geneva and to Dal Pescatore in Canneto sull’Oglio, where he spent two years and one year, respectively.  In 2005, he returned to the Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia.  During his years with this distinguished establishment, he has led a team of experienced chefs in receiving a number of awards, including the coveted two-star rating in the Michelin Guide 2016.

During Chef Alessandro’s four-day sojourn at Angelini, he will offer Hong Kong diners three-, four- and five-course lunch and four-, five- and six-course dinner menus co-created with Angelini Head Chef Alessandro Angelini.  Please refer to the appendix for the menus.

The three-course lunch menu is priced at only HK$418 per person, the four-course lunch menu at just HK$518 per person and the five-course lunch menu is at HK$618 per person.  In addition, wine-pairing options of two, three and four glasses of wines are also available at HK$180, HK$280 and HK$380 per person, respectively.

Meanwhile, the four-course dinner menu is priced at HK$1,080 per person, the five-course dinner menu at just HK$1,180 per person and the six-course dinner menu at HK$1,280 per person.  Wine-pairing options of two, three and four glasses of wines are also available at HK$230, HK$360 and HK$480 per person, respectively.
