Angsana Laguna Phuket Announces The Appointment Of New General Manager Brian Connelly And New Hotel Manager Figen Bulut

Angsana Laguna Phuket is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Brian Connelly as the General Manager and Ms. Figen Bulut as the Hotel Manager for Angsana Laguna Phuket, Thailand, the flagship property of Angsana Hotels & Resorts.


Mr. Connelly, in his role as General Manager of Angsana Laguna Phuket, will lead the hotel team to ensure delivery of financial and operational performance and results. He will work closely with his team members to ensure a smooth operation of the hotel and that the Group’s standards are complied with.

Mr. Connelly joins Angsana Laguna Phuket with over 35 years of leadership in the hospitality management. Prior to this, he was Cluster General Manager at Doubletree Resort Phuket, General Manager of Oakwood properties in Asia Pacific and held management positions in Hilton, Fairmont and Intercontinental in Asia Pacific and Middle East.

Ms. Bulut, as Hotel Manager for Angsana Laguna Phuket, has more than 20 years of experience in Rooms Division with many global brands. She will oversea the day-to-day operations of the scenic beachfront resort, including budgeting and financial management as well as front-of-house Food & Beverage operations.

Opened in 2011, Angsana Laguna Phuket is part of Laguna Phuket, Asia’s largest integrated resort. A 20 minute drive from Phuket International Airport, this fun filled beachfront destination offers 403rooms, including lofts and suites, an award-winning tropical Angsana Spa, ten meeting venues for up to 1,000 persons and stunning views and easy access to a sparkling lagoon and the Andaman Sea.
