The most popular food and wine festival in the Macarthur region, AnnanROMA, will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2017, marking its 10th birthday at the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan.

The AnnanROMA Food and Wine Festival, which last year drew more than 11,000 people to the gardens, showcases an array of local food, beer and wine, giving visitors an authentic taste of the Macarthur region.

The burgeoning region has been a food bowl for Sydney for decades with some of the best dairy and produce coming from farms in the surrounding regions.

This year’s event is expected to be bigger than ever and will include the new and improved ‘Eat Street’ – a main avenue of delicacies stretching along the garden’s central circuit to the lakeside lawn, where guests can sit and chill out to some live music. Local fare on offer will include beautiful Italian pastries, cupcakes, some of the best Asian fusion and sliders in the area and beers, wines and even margaritas!  Vendors will include Orangeville Meat Co, Juicy Goose, Frank and Blanco, Otis Bar & Grill and Embers Charcoal Kitchen

AnnanROMA will be held from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, April 2, with parking space doubled this year.

Visitors to the event are invited to bring a picnic rug and enjoy the delicious tastes of Macarthur just 45 minutes from the centre of Sydney.
