Recently, 140 buying delegates from Southeast Asia, South Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand descended in Lausanne for the bi-annual Asia-Pacific Workshop of Switzerland Tourism.

Met by 130 suppliers from around Switzerland, the two-day event from 13-15 December 2018 took place at the stunning waterfront Beau Rivage Palace Hotel.

Apart from one-on-one meetings, where fresh connections were made and new Swiss itineraries designed for the different markets, the APAC buyers also enjoyed pre-convention tours to several regions in Switzerland and joined excursions to Christmas markets, Gruyeres, the Cailler Chocolate Factory in Broc, Chaplin’s World in Vevey and Glacier 3000 in Les Diablerets.
