Luxury travel operator APT has announced that guests who travel on its China tours in 2016 will have exclusive access to two new Signature Invitations.
Guests who travel to the Great Wall of China with the award winning luxury travel operator will be taken to a rarely visited stretch of the Badaling section to enjoy an unforgettable lunch complete with free flowing beer, wine and soft drinks.
At Beijing’s Summer Palace, APT will take guests on a special cruise. Sailing aboard a traditional vessel they will enjoy a private cruise around the shores of China’s most beautiful royal palace complex.
Both of the new Signature Invitations have been especially designed for APT guests and feature across all seven of APT’s China itineraries in 2016, including the most popular 13-day Best of China.
Priced from $5,995 per person twin share, the itinerary takes guests from Beijing – where guests spend three nights at the five star Raffles Hotel – to Shanghai for a three night stay at the Fairmont Peace Hotel, and includes an exclusive luxury four night river cruise aboard the Sanctuary Yangzi Explorer and then two nights in Xi’an.
Highlights include the chance to see Chongqing Zoo’s giant Pandas, enjoy a special tour of the Terracotta Warriors from an exclusive lower viewing platform, and premium seating at an acrobatic show.
In Xi’an guests will also enjoy new Freedom of Choice™ inclusions in 2016 with the option of enjoying a Tang Dynasty performance followed by a local feast of dumplings; or alternatively choose a tour of the Muslim Quarter taking in the sights and sounds of the local market followed by a delicious dinner at a local restaurant.
