APT Announces New Series of Expos

Travel agents once again stand to gain from increased sales at APT’s forthcoming free consumer Expos.

This nationwide series of events is designed to bring the award winning luxury travel operator’s portfolio to life for prospective clients, while at the same time driving increased business for travel agents.

Each event will feature destination and product overviews presented by APT’s knowledgeable team of travel experts. APT will be showcasing its award winning travel styles and destinations at the events, ranging from its luxury Europe River Cruising and Small Ship Cruising to Vietnam and Cambodia, Myanmar, Canada and Alaska, USA, South America, Antarctica, Africa and India. Domestic destinations will also feature, with APT showcasing its Kimberley and Outback Wilderness Adventures, Tasmania and New Zealand.

The events are free of charge to attend and locations and dates, which have been just been released, are as follows:

According to APT Commercial Manager Retail, Susan Haberle, the events will deliver increased business to agents:

“We have invested significantly in this nationwide tour of consumer Expos in order to support our travel industry partners. Every event is designed to educate clients on APT’s extensive range of travel styles and destinations, while at the same time deliver financial benefits to agents. Our knowledgeable team of experts are on hand to help answer questions and as a result we always experience high bookings on the day. We also ensure that agencies can register their clients and link themselves to them, thus ensuring all bookings are attributed to the relevant agency. Commissions go straight back to the travel agent.”

APT’s Expos are designed to secure trade bookings in a number of ways: they provide discounts for attendees who book with their travel agent; they channel client bookings made on the day directly to back the Travel Agent; clients are given the option of taking their Expo discount voucher in store to book with their preferred travel agency; and APT also refers clients who may not have a travel agent to a preferred agency in their area.

Space is limited so agents are urged to register clients onto the events as soon as possible and list their agency so that APT can link their clients back to their business.
