Leading Australian tour operator APT will offer guests a great range of cruising options in the Kimberley in 2018, including three distinct cruise styles on board three different expedition-style small ships.

Released to agents today, the APT Kimberley Coast Cruising 2018 brochure also offers guests a comprehensive selection of land touring options to compliment the spectacular cruise itinerary between Broome and Darwin.

Two Superdeal offers are available for clients who book early – a fly free deal for all packages of 18 days or more, and a companion fly free deal for all Kimberley Coast Cruises less than 17 days.

With its secluded coves, spectacular waterfalls and fascinating rock formations, the Kimberley Coast offers cruisers plenty to explore, from King George falls, where the river plunges 80 metres over sandstone cliffs, to the tidal phenomenon of Horizontal Falls.

For guests interested in immersing themselves in the Kimberley experience, the MS Caledonian Sky is the ultimate expedition ship, boasting ten Zodiac vessels, and up to ten Expedition Team members, for a maximum 110 guests, ensuring ample opportunities to explore and learn both aboard and onshore.

This elegant small ship offers spacious suites and stylish public areas including an alfresco dining area on the Lido Deck, a lounge bar and library. Guests will be entertained on board after dinner each night by musical duo, Amazon Blue.

The MS Caledonian Sky will offer 6 departures in 2018 on an 11 day itinerary priced from $11,995 per person twin share.

For those looking to combine discovery with luxury, the APT chartered L’Austral has room for up to 240 guests and is equipped with 12 Zodiacs and two tenders, which allow guests to get close to the action on the water.

Each suite and stateroom on this luxurious ship comes with a balcony and all day room service, while public facilities include two luxurious lounges, a pool, a fine dining restaurant, a more casual grill and a salon and day spa.

APT will fully charter L’Austral for two departures in 2018.

For a true small group cruising experience APT is also offering three departures on board the newly refurbished Coral Discoverer.

This boutique vessel, with room for just 72 guests, has its own custom built Xplorer – a canopy covered, hydraulically lifted vessel which carries all guests at once to upstream sights such as the spectacular terraced rock formations of Kings Cascades.

Cruises on each of these vessels can be combined with a range of APT Kimberley 4WD land adventures, where guests benefit from APT’s 40 plus years of experience touring in the Kimberley.

For a truly comprehensive Kimberley cruising and touring experience, the 25 Day Kimberley Complete with Coastal Cruise aboard the MS Caledonian Sky, is priced from $21,990 per person twin share, and combines a 14 night small group 4WD adventure and a ten night cruise from Broome to Darwin. On land, guests stay at the famous Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa Broome and at APT’s network of exclusive Wilderness Lodges, where tented cabins offer outback luxuries including king size or twin beds, ensuites with hot showers and private decks.

APT hosts more guests in the Kimberley than any other tour company and in 2016 was named Best Domestic Tour Operator at the NTIA awards for the fifth year running.

APT’s Kimberley cruises and tours are inclusive of meals, beverage packages, sightseeing as noted on each itinerary, transfers, port charges and national park fees.

Kimberley Coast Cruising Superdeals are subject to terms and conditions and available until July 31, unless sold out.
