Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa, located in the heart of the ancient cultural district and diplomatic enclosure of Dubai joined a global campaign to support the people of Nepal by donating a day’s salary of its employees to the relief work in the country.
The collected funds will exclusively support relief and recovery efforts in Nepal following the recent powerful earthquake that struck the country.
Mr Habib Khan, General Manager, Arabian Courtyard Hotel and Spa said: “We hope that the humble contribution will help relief operations and rebuilding of Nepal. The world has responded overwhelmingly and at good speed and I am proud of all our associates who stand together with the Nepalese community to help the victims of the natural disaster. We should all contribute as much as we can to evade further humanitarian catastrophe.”

Speaking at the cheque handover, His Excellency Mr. Dhananjay Jha, Ambassador of Nepal to the UAE, said: “I really appreciated the gesture and assured that the donation given by the associates will be used for the welfare of people affected by the earthquake. Whatever reconstruction that will take place in Nepal will be planned in a scientific and in an integrated way so as to protect the buildings from facing further natural disasters.”
