Arsenal FC arrive in Sydney

English Premier League giants Arsenal FC have landed in Sydney today ahead of playing two blockbuster matches against Sydney FC and the Western Sydney Wanderers at ANZ Stadium.

Legendary Arsenal FC Manager Arsène Wenger today spoke of the excitement among his players about the Arsenal in Sydney Tour.

Arsenal FC’s Manager Arsène Wenger was joined at the Museum of Contemporary Art by players Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny and Petr Cech along with Graham Arnold (Sydney FC Coach), David Carney (Sydney FC), Andrew Redmayne (Sydney FC), Tony Popovic (Western Sydney Wanderers Coach), Oriol Riera (Western Sydney Wanderers) and Brendon Santalab (Western Sydney Wanderers).

More than 80,000 fans are expected to watch Emirates FA Cup Champions Arsenal FC play A-League Champion Sydney FC on Thursday 13 July, and the Western Sydney Wanderers at ANZ Stadium on Saturday 15 July. The two-match tour was secured exclusively for Sydney by the NSW Government’s tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
