Asheville Convention & Visitors Bureau Partners With Buxton to Better Understand Visitor Populations

The Asheville Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB), recently commissioned analytics firm Buxton to conduct an in-depth visitor analysis for the Asheville, North Carolina region. Buxton’sbest-in-class visitor analytics will allow the organization to better understand who is visiting Asheville along with their lifestyle characteristics.

Asheville is a vibrant mountain community with unique and engaging tourism experiences,” said Stephanie Brown, ACVB executive director. “We are excited to incorporate the insights from Buxton’s analytics into our tourism marketing efforts.”

Buxton’s solution will provide ACVB with detailed understanding of the types of consumers who visit Asheville, what origin markets visitors come from, and the specific households that should be included in future marketing campaigns to encourage overnight visits to Asheville.
