I am happy to announce two senior management changes in Asian Trails. Effective January 1, 2014, I will move on to a more strategic role as Chairman of Asian Trails and Kuoni Destination Management Asia Pacific.

Taking over as the new CEO of Asian Trails and Kuoni Destination Management Asia Pacific from the same date is Laurent Kuenzle, who co-founded Asian Trails with me in 1999 and became the Group Managing Director in 2007. (Pictured: Luzi on left handing over the baton to Laurent.)

Even in my reduced role at Asian Trails I will still be very much connected to the pulse of the business as I will head the introduction of our new IT system in 2014, which will bring along major improvements in speed of response, capacity, availability of services plus efficient processing of accounting, statistics and financial reports.”

Secondly, since I will be travelling less I will be in the office more frequently thus assuring managers and staff of continuity.”

Lastly, I will be able to spend some more time on my favourite hobby – flying MEDEVAC missions for VIP-Jets throughout Asia!”

On his promotion Laurent says, “I am blessed with the best management and staff team one could possibly hope for and a very wise mentor. I look forward to lead Asian Trails in its continued success.”

With Laurent and I at the helm of Asian Trails we will ensure continuity.

We wish to thank you for your strong support in 2013, and look forward to working even more closely together in the years ahead.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us at Asian Trails.

Happy Trails!

In this issue, we have a wide choice of different new products from flow boarding, to Muay Thai boxing, designer shopping in Bangkok, and home stay and new Explore tours to unknown areas in our Kingdom.

On behalf of the whole team of Asian Trails Thailand I would like to thank you for the support. We wish you all a joyful festive season, and all the very best for the coming year
