Asiana Airlines Partners With Abacus To Enhance Customisable Pricing Workflow For Agents In Korea Using Abacus Smartprice

Abacus International, Asia Pacific’s leading revenue partner for airlines, announces today that Asiana Airlines, a major airline of South Korea, has integrated its internal fare-authorisation system called i-Auth using Abacus SmartPrice.

With this integration, users of the Abacus system in Korea can easily request for ad-hoc discount off-published FIT fares on Asiana Airlines’ i-Auth, and are able to auto-price and ticket with the discount approval code from Asiana Airlines in Abacus SmartPrice.

The integration provides all Abacus travel agents in Korea the convenience of making faster and more accurate fare retrieval with the discount approval code from Asiana Airlines, and reducing the time needed to search and verify fare conditions. With a single command, travel agents can display published fares from ATPCO and enable automated ticketing, as well as automate the discount off-published FIT fares using the approval code from Asiana Airlines.

“Travel agents requesting for discounts for the best fares will benefit from these enhancements,” says Mr. Suh YoungBae, Asiana Airlines’ Head of Commercial IT Team. “The result is increased business efficiency and productivity, and faster execution, which all go towards improving the performance of our customers’ business.”
