Auckland Convention Bureau’s new 2014 planner puts success at your fingertips

Event planners now have comprehensive information for their next Auckland event at their fingertips, thanks to the new online version of Auckland Convention Bureau’s 2014 Conference, Incentive & Event Planner.

The online planner offers full search capabilities and is both interactive and responsive, meaning it can also be used on smartphones and tablets.

Auckland Convention Bureau Manager Anna Hayward says organising your next event in Auckland just got a whole lot easier.

“The 2014 Conference, Incentive & Event Planner provides a comprehensive guide to venues, transport, activities, services and dining, along with a look at the different regions within Auckland.”

“We expect the new online planner to be a big hit with event planners.  They’ll be able to search by all sorts of categories from location to room capacity and then save and shortlist their options in their own ‘my planner’ section. Plus they can do all this while they’re on the move,” says Ms Hayward.

The online version will be complemented by a slick new hard copy which is being distributed this week.

The planner is one tool that support’s the Auckland Convention Bureau’s work to market Auckland as a destination for meetings, incentives, conventions and events.

The bureau aims to grow the lucrative conventions sector in line with the overall targets in the Auckland Visitor Plan – to grow the visitor economy from $3.33 billion in 2010 to $8 billion in 2021.
