TOPDECK are seeing increased bookings from young Aussies flocking to New Zealand for the Easter break.
In comparison to this time last year, bookings are up by a staggering 39%, showcasing that New Zealand is the destination of choice for young travellerslooking to take advantage of the public holidays.
Topdeck’sGeneral Manager for Asia Pacific Joe Ponte said “New Zealand is a very attractive market, with the
Easter holidays approaching our passengers are making the most of the public holidays, using them to get away for longer without using too much leave.”
The favoured trip this Easter is Topdeck’s 7 day Southern Explorer, a superb round up of NZ’s South Island from Christchurch to Queenstown and back again.
“Aussies are becoming more savvy when planning their trips over specified breaks -it’s the perfect way to explore the fjordscapes and ancient glaciers of our neighbouring country without breaking the leave bank.”
“Topdeckers can explore ‘Middle Earth’, sink their teeth into a popular Fergburger, walk on (ice) water in Fox Glacier and have their pick of over 220 adrenaline packed activities in Queenstown” said Joe.
With this massive growth rate already achieved, it is expected the figure will increase by a further 20% for 2017, as NZ is at the forefront of young Aussie’s minds when looking for quick trips away over the holiday season.
Topdeck are offering 7.5% off all Australia and New Zealand trips if booked and paid in full by 31 March 2016.
