Australian company Backpacker Deals is expanding its service to cover southeast Asia, beginning with Cambodia next week.
Backpacker Deals founder Dinesh Kaku said that having built a solid reputation as a leader in youth travel bookings for both Australia and New Zealand, “we are looking forward to continuing to exceed expectations wherever we operate with our ability to offer the best deals for backpackers.
“Our vision is based on the concept that life is too short to be wasted on boring, run-of-the-mill travel,” he continued. “Backpacker Deals’ goal is to make an exciting adventure with local and authentic experiences for every traveller.”
Since entering the market in 2013, “the total number of travellers benefiting from deals sold by the company has topped more than 20,000 and the volume of traffic to www.backpackerdeals.com has increased tenfold”, a statement by Backpacker Deals said.
The company’s digital manager, Rosie Homewood, said the company was excited about growing its reach into Southeast Asia and was seeking new partners “to deliver the same kind of wonderful experiences and feedback we have built our reputation on”.
Backpacker Deals attributes its success to the fact that youth travel is one of the fastest growing, most dynamic markets in the global tourism sector. As an online travel booking platform, it sees itself meeting the ever increasing appetite for more affordable, local and cultural experiences.
The selection of destinations on Backpacker Deals is backed up with blog reviews and suggestions to bring users more value. Every sale is even backed by a 100% guarantee.
