Australians travelling to New Zealand are benefitting from the strong New Zealand Dollar, as it sits at near record high AUD-NZD levels last seen in April 2016.http://www.lagunaphuket.com/events/event.php?event=3

Kelly Spencer General Manager of Travel Money Group said, “Australians love visiting New Zealand, and with the AUD-NZD exchange rate at a high, we expect to see more Aussies heading across the ditch and making the most of the favourable exchange rate.”

“Travel Money Oz recommends making the most of the strong AUD-NZD rate and consider locking in their rate for upcoming trips and those that are later in the year.”

Most recent figures saw 1,456,672 Australians visiting New Zealand for the 12-months to end of July 2017, an increase of 6.2% year-on-year.

Travel Money Oz advises that travellers can lock in their rates now on cash, or on a pre-paid travel money card with the peace of mind knowing they’ve locked in that day’s rate.

Travel Money Oz is today selling the NZD as cash online at AUD$1=1.0563 NZD, which can then be collected from any Travel Money Oz store(1).

Alternatively, customers not wanting to buy and hold cash can load funds onto a pre-paid travel money card to also secure a great AUD-NZD rate.

Travel Money Oz advises customers that their rates are guaranteed for advance orders in-store or online. Their pre-paid travel money card can hold up to 10 currencies with locked in exchange rates(2).

1) Rate as at 5th September, 2017.

2) Conditions apply. Visit www.travelmoneyoz.com/ for full terms and conditions.
