Sydney’s B-Boy Lowe has taken home the crown overnight at the Red Bull BC One 2017 Australian Cypher, cementing his place as Australia’s best break dancer in the international series.

In front of a packed out audience of judges, dancers and fans at the Ultimo Community Centre, Sydney, B-Boy Lowe prevailed against the nation’s best break dancers in a one-on-one knockout battle format.

Lowe, an anime and sport lover who has been breaking for seventeen years, brought the house down with his unique individual style and classic breaking moves such as the toprock and downrock. He now shifts his attention in preparing for the Red Bull BC One World Finals on 4th November in Amsterdam.

Speaking after his win, Lowe, said he was happy to come out on top and meet everyone’s expectations.

“I trained quite well and hard in the lead up to this event. My body was feeling fit, strong and awesome, and I’m glad I could deliver on the day.

“A big shout to the SKB krew for all their support and I’m now really looking forward to putting in some work ahead of the finals.”
