29f502a9-4b2e-452f-b4b7-ab9f7aa2b41dOne of Northern New South Wales’ premier leisure and conferencing resorts, Mantra on Salt Beach, has been recognised with a People’s Choice Award to coincide with its $1.5 million refurbishment.

Australian Traveller Magazine readers voted Mantra on Salt Beach the Best Affordable Accommodation in Australia, highlighting the resort’s accessibility for travellers looking for a quality getaway at an affordable price.

The value for money for guests has been raised even further with the resort recently unveiling a full refurbishment of its hotel rooms and one, two and three bedroom apartments, complete with new furnishings and balcony furniture to make the most of the resort’s beachside and poolside outlooks.

Other upgrades have been completed to both the lagoon pool and heated rock pool areas; and a refurbishment of the lobby space which doubles as a unique venue for conferences and events or product showcases with unlimited ceiling height.  Together with the adjacent sister property, Peppers Salt Resort & Spa, the properties can accommodate up to 300 delegates.

General Manager Scott O’Neile said it was exciting to see the changes come to fruition leading in to the peak Christmas period:

“Guests staying with us throughout the summer will really appreciate the changes we’ve incorporated to what was already an outstanding holiday resort.  Likewise, our conference guests can now utilise excellent venue space options and enjoy upgraded facilities.”

“For all of this to culminate in the Australian Traveller Magazine Award is a very rewarding outcome for our team and confirmation that our guests truly love their time here.”
