After a successful launch of the MGallery Literary Collection at Mount Lofty House and The New Inchcolm Hotel in Brisbane, Hotel Lindrum is the third venue for the much touted MGallery In Conversation event to be held in conjunction with The Wheeler Centre.
The MGallery Literary Collection will tour all nine of Australia’s MGallery hotels and as part of the program, an author from The Wheeler Centre will be invited to participate in an ‘in conversation’ event at the hotel, then take up residence at the hotel for three nights and create an exclusive short story inspired by their experience.
At the end of the year, a Literary Collection of short stories comprising all of the authors’ works will be published into an edition de luxe and released as an epilogue to the collaboration, exclusively for all MGallery hotels in Australia.
James Bradley, an award-winning Australian novelist and critic has been announced as the third author to be ‘in conversation’ with Michael Williams, Managing Director of The Wheeler Centre at Hotel Lindrum on Thursday 14 May 2015.
The evening will commence at 6:30pm by the fireplace at Hotel Lindrum’s Back Bar with wine and shared tasting platters on offer, and then move into felt restaurant where the Q & A with James will begin. A lively discussion should be expected as James talks about his collection of works and his most recent novel Clade, which explores the possible effect of climate change through three generations of a family.
