Australian travel technology company Locomote today announced it’s working together with AXESS International Network (AXESS), the leading Japanese global distribution system owned by Japan Airlines, to roll out a new business travel management solution in Japan.Travelport, the global travel commerce platform, providing distribution, technology, payment and other solutions for the global travel industry, first signed a strategic partnership with AXESS in April 2012. Travelport has now invited Locomote to participate in this partnership to design a new business travel management solution for AXESS and the Japanese market.
Designed and powered by Locomote, the new corporate travel management platform, AXESS BTM, will be available exclusively to AXESS-connected travel agents and aims to make the multi billion dollar Japan business travel industry more efficient and smarter.
Using AXESS BTM corporates and travel agents will have complete control and visibility of employees’ travel on any device, anywhere in the world. Companies will have access to all the information they need when planning business trips, including bookings, authorisations, health and document requirements, requests, and more.
