Never one to rest on its laurels, AYANA Resort and Spa, BALI concludes the year with several prestigious awards bestowed upon the luxury resort brand by World Travel Awards, Travel + Leisure India, AsiaSpa, and Condé Nast Traveller India.
In perfect sync with AYANA’s 22nd anniversary celebrated on 29 November, Indonesia’s top 5-star destination is celebrating success with four premium awards given by an international jury of hospitality experts and peers at World Travel Awards (WTA).
Regarded as the travel industry’s most coveted awards program, WTA recognized AYANA on 1 December at the awards gala ceremony at Pátio da Galé, Lisbon, Portugal with the following awards:
- World’s Leading Island Villas – The Villas at AYANA Resort
- World’s Leading Luxury Island Villas – The Villas at AYANA Resort
- World’s Leading New Resort – AYANA Komodo Resort, Waecicu Beach
- World’s Leading Family Resort – RIMBA Jimbaran BALI by AYANA
WTA was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry. Nowadays, WTA brand is recognized globally as the ultimate hallmark of quality, with winners setting the benchmark to which all others aspire.
In addition, on 29 November, Condé Nast Traveller India Readers’ Travel Awards 2018 honored AYANA Resort and Spa, BALI in the runner’s up category of “Favorite Hotel in Asia”. The awards ceremony was held in New Delhi with AYANA General Manager, Clive Edwards, and India Sales Manager, Shobhit Saxena, in attendance.
AsiaSpa Awards hosted a stunning awards ceremony on 15 November in Hong Kong. Created in 2005, AsiaSpa sets the benchmark for quality and innovation for spas in the region. AYANA has been recognized as Most Romantic Hotel/Resort of the Year 2018.
And on Travel + Leisure India’s Best Awards gala event in New Delhi on 12 November, Thermes Marins Spa garnered another exciting award as “Best Destination Spa”. The spa’s recent renovation includes several new opulent treatment rooms & completed redesign of the resort’s famous Spa On The Rocks treatment villas for guests to enjoy during their me time on the Island of the Gods.
