December 19, 2017 Cruise No Comments Email Email

Azamara Club Cruises’ brand new Country-Intensive itineraries and third season down under will launch when the boutique cruise line’s 690-guest Azamara Journey returns to Australia in January 2018.

Renowned for its destination-focused journeys, the up-market cruise line has curated a range of brand new Country-Intensive itineraries in Australia and around the world that consist of most, if not all ports of call within a single country. These itineraries combine a range of popular and smaller, lesser-known ports, as well as late-night and overnight stays.

Of the four cruises offered on Azamara Journey down under this season, two will be Country-Intensive voyages, including Azamara Journey’s first Australian itinerary for the season. The 18-night voyage departs Bali on 21 January and reaches West Australia on 24 January 2018, marking the line’s first west coast cruise and making maiden calls to Exmouth, Perth, Bunbury, Albany and Esperance in WA, as well as Adelaide and Kangaroo Island in South Australia, before arriving in Sydney on 8 February 2018.

The second local Country-Intensive, a Kiwi focused 13 night voyage, will depart Auckland on 22 February 2018 and visit the Bay of Islands, Tauranga, Napier, Wellington, Picton, Akaroa and Milford Sound, including three late night stays and an overnight in both Dunedin and Sydney.

Other Country-Intensive destinations offered in the new range of itineraries include Japan, Cuba and Alaska.

There’s never been a better time to book – Australians can save up to 50% on the second guest* on a range of worldwide sailings, including many Country-Intensive itineraries, when booked before 28 February 2017:
