Italian yacht-maker Azimut Yachts joins the Singapore Yacht Show for the third time, presenting four of their fastest and finest for the Asia market from 12 – 15 April Azimut Yachts CEO Marco Valle will be in Singapore to support the Asia premiere of the Grande 27 Metri, and ongoing promotion of the 43 Atlantis, Magellano 43 and 54 Flybridge.

Across collections, Azimut Yachts are renowned for sporty elegance, sleek design, harmonious lines, responsive handling and utmost comfort, combined with unexpected space.  As a brand Azimut Yachts consistently sets the trend in the wide body segment, due to its revolutionary carbon fiber construction.  The extensive use of carbon fiber, which Azimut Yachts has pioneered in all its collections, makes it possible to extend the space available without increasing the yacht’s weight, resulting in better performance in the water and unprecedented comfort onboard.

Says Valle, “We are delighted to return to Singapore for the 2018 Singapore Yacht Show.  Our team looks forward to bringing the best of our revolutionary technology and ground breaking Italian design to Asia’s hub for luxury lifestyle and the yachting business.”  He adds, “It has been a fantastic time for Azimut Yachts, both in terms of global sales, new production as well as research and development.”

Throughout its over 40-year history, Azimut Yachts has always had a flair for identifying remarkable creative talents and for pioneering ground breaking solutions. The company continues to revolutionise yacht design through its recent commissioning of internationally acclaimed architect Achille Salvagnito design the interior and exterior decorations and furnishings of the new Grande 27 Metri. One of AD Collector’s top 100 designers and included in the A-List of Elle Décor USA, Salvagni has built his professional career in London and New York and brings a new language to boat interior design, one borrowed from the metropolitan residential sector.

2018 ASIA PREMIERE: Azimut Yachts Grande 27 Metri

Designed by the expert hand of Azimut |Benetti Group leading designer Stefano Righini, this unique concept wide body superyacht creates perfect harmony between flowing lines and unparalleled volumes for the segment. The vertical bow and the big full-height windows, which rise from the hull and extend up into the superstructure to give the boat a sporty, edgy character.

The Azimut Yachts Grande 27 Metri presents a unique widebody concept in this category, with the owner’s suite on the main deck and the possibility of five cabins, in what is an almost unique feature for a boat this size. The full beam owner’s cabin has big windows that flood the spaces with light, while a full beam bathroom and a dressing room complete the setting. The crew too has plenty of space, with a crew mess, two cabins and two bathrooms. The spectacular lounge area in the bow can be thought of as a big sea terrace, offering an area for socialising and a sun lounging area next to it. On the fly bridge are the outdoor helm station, a dinette and a bar area, while the stern area can be furnished either as an open-air living zone or used as a sunbathing area with a hydro massage tub.

Sinuous lines and forms enhance contrasting colours and textures, through a skilful combination of woods that lend the spaces a uniquely contemporary feel. Salvagni’s signature style involves harmoniously flowing lines, with some critics drawing comparisons to Italian Renaissance art, in a contemporary interpretation: “the new Italian Renaissance”. The furnishings proposed by Salvagni for the Grande 27 Metri are unique items, designed and made to measure by expert craftsmen. Alternatively, the owner can opt for the architect’s own personal selection of design pieces that express Made in Italy excellence. The exterior furniture is also designed by Salvagni, achieving a harmonious continuity of style, colour palette and material that characterises the entire yacht.
