Back by popular demand! Rembrandt brings in a taste of Argentina

Rembrandt HotelRembrandt Hotel Bangkok welcomes visiting Chef Matias Aldasoro from Santa Julia and Zuccardi wines in Argentina this coming September 14th and 18th; 2 nights.

Back after an amazing event last year, Chef Matias will begin by preparing an illustrious 5 course dinner with wines paired for each course on the evening of the 14th.  The event on the 18th will start with wine and canapés poolside followed by a wine dinner served family style both being at the da Vinci Restaurant.

Rembrandt’s Executive Chef Jaume Esperalba will work alongside this nationally acclaimed chef to create a memorable dining experience exciting diner’s palates with the unique cuisine of Argentina.  The evening of the 14th will be an elegant display of both chefs creating a menu that will prove to be amazing coupled by wines found deep in the Zuccardi cellar.  The highlights on the 18th will include Santa Julia wines rated by Wine Spectator served with amazing canapés by the pool followed by dinner with Zuccardi wines rated highly by Robert Parker served an asado of prime Argentine beef, Northern Argentine farmer’s sausage and lamb with salsa criolla and much more served in a unique family style.  The cuisine has been carefully matched to wines from Santa Julia and Zuccardi for an exclusive Argentine dining experience.

Chef Matias Aldasoro has a wide range of cooking and training experience both in Argentina and internationally. His experience at five star hotels and restaurants allows Chef Matias to manipulate fine ingredients into a unique culinary journey.  “I am absolutely thrilled Chef Matias is coming back to the Rembrandt.  He is one of the top chefs from Argentina coming to collaborate with us and is a testament to how enjoyable the event was last year.  We strive to provide our guests with unique dining experiences of top notch caliber and partnering with Zuccardi and Chef Matias is yet another example of doing just that.  We are extremely excited to enjoy what both evenings have to offer.” said Hotel Manager, Jamie Miller.

The master of ceremonies for the evening of the 18th will be the Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina H. E. Ana Maria Ramirez and guests are welcome to join us for either magnificent dinner with wines for 1,699 THB Net per person.  The evening begins at 18.30 poolside followed by dinner at approximately 19.00 at da Vinci on the 4th floor.
