#Badrutt’s Culinary: Simply Irresistible

In Winter 2016/17, the luxury establishment will launch new culinary concepts such as a new restaurant, IGNIV @ Badrutt’s Palace by Andreas Caminada, and a “Vintage Cigar Lounge”, serving Cuban cigars, fine wines & spirits.

Smoking allowed – in particular fine Cuban cigars! From 3rd December 2016 the Renaissance Bar will become Europe’s first “Vintage Cigar Lounge”. Highlighting pure indulgence, the décor oozes comfort and encourages lounging. Guests can enjoy an exclusive choice of cigars paired with drinks and cocktails mixed by Andrea Delvo, Manager of the popular bar.

A new restaurant concept never seen before in St. Moritz, IGNIV @ Badrutt’s Palace by Andreas Caminada opens on 21st December 2016 in the rooms of Le Relais. IGNIV means “nest” and for Andreas Caminada, the 3 Michelin starred Swiss chef, stands for sharing values, social exchange and comfort. Caminada’s innovative fine-dining-sharing-experience focuses on time spent together, sharing menu components served on platters and in pans.

Additionally, the “Aprés-Ski Time” on the terrace of the cult Chesa Veglia restaurant will not only tantalise your taste buds but also provide an exclusive choice of unique atmospheres too. When the sun slowly slips behind the mountain peaks and the sky is bathed in a pinky red glow, the hotspot Chesa Veglia suddenly comes to life! From 17th December 2016 to 12th March 2017, it’s “Aprés-Ski Time” on the cult restaurant’s terrace. Savour deluxe gourmet delights with mulled wine, sparkling bubbles and delicious treats in between cosy, snuggly furs.

For gourmands looking for a peek behind the scenes and tips from the Head Chef, the new “Matsuhisa Cooking Class” will give you an opportunity to be the one stirring things up. At the cooking class, you’ll be standing in the kitchen yourself with Matsuhisa @ Badrutt’s Palace’s head chef. Gain an insight into the cooking philosophy of the international star chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa – better known as Nobu – and at the end savour all the prepared dishes with Sake in the noble atmosphere of La Coupole / Matsuhisa @ Badrutt’s Palace.

Le Pavillion enchants with its unique art of transformation. The culinary highlight – two restaurant concepts that couldn’t differ more. Highlighting the typical Swiss favourite of cheese, from 26th December 2016 to 7th January 2017, “Cheese Gallore” is here to entice all Swiss cheese fans – traditional and simple.

Last but not least, “Welcome to the American Way of Life”. The Swiss Alexander Stamm is best known as chef to the stars and European royalty. From 11th to 25th February 2017, he will be providing your own personal #BadruttsMoments with his “American Classics”.
