Badrutt’s Palace Sponsors Polo World Cup The Luxury Hotel participates with own polo team & VIP hospitality tent
Four teams, six nations, 17 world-class polo players meet in Baku, Azerbaijan for the CBC Sport Arena Polo World Cup from 9th to 11th September 2016.
As the official polo hotel in St. Moritz, Badrutt’s Palace is once again the sponsor of the Polo World Cup and has its own team at the legendarySnow Polo World Cup St. Moritz in winter 2017. This year, for the first time, they are also competing to win the Grass Arena Polo World Cup Azerbaijan with the Badrutt’s Palace Hotel team. Other teams include “Gilan Holding” from Azerbaijan, “Bogner” from Spain, and “Italdizain Group” from Argentina.
The event is a good reason for Yves Gardiol, General Manager of Badrutt’s Palace Hotel, and his eight-strong hotel crew to experience the contrast in Baku live and first hand – the glamorous spectacle on grass in a warm summer climate – and to forge joint collaborations. “We want to arouse the passion in the Baku guests for winter and the Snow Polo World Cup in St. Moritz, and hopefully be able to welcome some of them in St. Moritz next year”, adds Yves Gardiol.
From authentic to manifold, from Swiss specialities to tempting Palace classics, Badrutt’s Palace Hotel is also supporting the Polo Match Arena in Baku with VIP catering and a hospitality tent on site. The Badrutt’s Palace hospitality tent, the nine-strong Palace team and the delicious Swiss gourmet treats all ensure presence in Baku, promoting the champagne climate of St. Moritz and its exclusive events such as the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz which takes place again in St. Moritz from 27th to 29th January 2017.
