TWO senior executives from Bangkok’s fashionable Mode Sathorn hotel will arrive in Australia on April 20 to launch a new range of competitive rates for the leisure market and introduce the property as a potential venue for the 37,947 business events visitors which arrived in Thailand from Australia last year.
The two visitors will call on wholesalers and MICE operators on arrival in Perth and then travel to Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland with new rates they will offer in their campaign to promote the unique qualities of a relatively new hotel.
The hotel’s Director of Sales & Marketing Mr Thawee Kugasemrat said it was the first time the property had made a sales mission to Australia since Mode Sathorn moved from the umbrella it shared with Bangkok’s well established Siam@Siam hotel group.
He said that he and Mr Nay Lynn Aung the hotel manager had seen a healthy enquiry from the Australian market in recent months and would expect to significantly grow the three per cent of its international market which currently comes from Australia.
Mr Aung said that he expected new low season room rates to have wide appeal to both leisure and business markets for the hotel which is ideally situated directly opposite the Surasek BTS station in downtown Bangkok.
He added that the Mode Sathorn’s convenient proximity to business houses and Bangkok’s great leisure attractions was greatly enhanced by the convenient transport point.
Mode Sathorn is represented in Australian by North Sydney-based Randall Marketing. RM chief executive Randall Lui said that situated near
the Chaophaya River, the property is ideal for repeat travelers to Bangkok who understand the city and its different lifestyles.
