Banyan Tree Macau’s award-winning Thai restaurantSaffron is proudly offering signature Thai cooking classes for just MOP 698 per person in Asia’s entertainment capital. The lessons will be conducted in a beautiful, shaded outdoor area overlooking the sky-high urban resort’s exclusive private pool, allowing guests to soak up the summer rays while cooking up a Thai feast.
Running on weekdays from 2pm to 5pm, the classes will teach guests how to cook a four-course menu including classic Thai favourites such asTom Yum Goong (Traditional Spicy River Prawn Soup); Yum Ruam Mitr Talay (Seafood Salad); Gaeng Kiew Wan Gai (Green Curry Chicken with Aubergine and Rice Noodles); and Sakoo Bai Toey (Pandan Tapioca Pudding with Coconut Milk).
Last year, Saffron was awarded the “Thai Select Premium” award, the highest recognition awarded by Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce to overseas restaurants – and Saffron was the first and only Thai restaurant in Macau and Hong Kong to receive it.

All guests will receive a complimentary recipe book and a certificate of achievement. A smart looking chef’s uniform will also be provided for usage. As spaces are limited, guests are advised to book their classes as soon as possible. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is needed in addition to a 50% deposit.
