BCD Travel Signs Long-Term Agreement To Provide TRIPBAM’s Hotel Rate Shopping Service To Corporate Clients

TRIPBAM™ today announced a long-term agreement with BCD Travel to provide the travel management company’s clients with products for improving corporate hotel programs.http://www.tourismlegal.com.au/ After a successful test phase, BCD Travel will make TRIPBAM available to clients in order to drive incremental savings, improve traveler confidence in the rates they access through their company’s hotel program and increase the number of hotels booked through managed channels.

With the annual hotel rate negotiation season underway, and with hotels recording rate and revenue increases in each of the top 25 U.S. markets (as per STR research), corporate travel managers are increasingly open to using innovative technologies to increase hotel attachment and ensure travelers book negotiated rates. TRIPBAM’s unique feature set – built to handle the complexity of managed travel hotel programs – offers corporations new tools that not only lower hotel costs but spur increased usage of preferred properties and chains.

BCD Travel plans to apply TRIPBAM’s patent-pending “cluster” shopping processes to seek preferred, in-program hotel alternatives when non-preferred hotels are booked by the traveler.
