Silversea Cruises’ newest flagship vessel, Silver Muse, is set to circumnavigate South America in 2017 and 2018, offering guests the incredible opportunity to discover one of the world’s most exhilarating continents. 

These two exclusive, roundtrip Grand Voyages are set to depart from Fort Lauderdale on: 13 October 2017 for 66 days; and on 03 January 2018for 69 days.  Guests who book before 30 September 2017 on select sectors* aboard these Grand Voyages, can also take advantage of free Economy Class airfares, or can choose to upgrade to Business Class for $4,999* per person, subject to availability.

Highlights of these awe-inspiring voyages include: a flightseeing adventure over the Nazca Lines; a zip-line trip in Costa Rica’s famous rainforest canopy; and evening caiman spotting with overnights in Manaus, Brazil.  Guests can sail through the finger-like mountains of the Chilean Fjords and wander among the overgrown ruins of prison cells on Devil’s Island in French Guiana.

Key highlights of the 2018 Grand Voyage include a crossing of the Panama Canal, cruising Chile’s majestic fjords, a three-day stopover in Rio de Janeiro in time for Carnival, plus overnight calls in Valparaiso, Punta Arenas, Buenos Aires, and Manaus, nestled in the heart of the Amazon. 

*V6801: Setting sail from Fort Lauderdale on 3 January 2018Silver Muse will commence the first segment of her 2018 Grand Voyage, travelling south to Valparaiso on an 18-day sojourn down the west coast of South America including a crossing of the Panama Canal.  Guests will encounter stunning natural beauty, glass-clear aquamarine seas, and vast marine life along with busy cities rich with history.

 *V6802: Travelling from Valparaiso to Buenos Aires on 21 January, this extraordinary voyage aboard Silver Muse will carve tracks through magnificent waterways, encountering the vast fjords, waterfalls and glaciers of Chile, the famous penguins of the Falkland Islands and the natural beauty of Argentina.

*V6803: Departing the vibrant hub of Buenos Aires on 6 February 2018Silver Muse will set sail on a 10-day voyage to Rio de Janeiro which, with only one full day at sea, will take guests on a journey of discovery, from the glitzy capital of Uruguay to the rich history and splendour of Brazil and it’s fast-paced capital of Rio, the home of the world renowned Carnival.

*V6804: Commencing a 25-day voyage on 16 February from Rio de Janeiro, guests will be treated to a box-seat view of the Carnival Winners’ Parade at the Sambadrome on February 17.  Silver Muse will continue to navigate Latin America, including the natural beauty of Maica, gateway to the Amazon and the cheeky wildlife of Alter de Chao and sail through the crystalline waters and white beaches of Brazil, before arriving into Fort Lauderdale to end her 2018 Grand Voyage.
