Webjet Exclusives, curator of holiday experiences around the world, invite travellers to experience their Enchanting North India & Varanasi tour, with the last of the 2017 travel dates released as part of their New Year Sale.

Available from AUD$2,299 twin share, typically AUD$6,174, guests are flown into Delhi from their nearest Australian capital city, where they will meet the rest of the tour group and guide. Exploring Delhi for a day, guests visit Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandi, call in on Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia and visit Qutab Minar, the tallest stone tower in India.

The following 14 days takes in a tour of the historical ‘pink city’ of Jaipur, founded in the 18th century, as well as an exclusive sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, one of the wonders of the modern world, and a journey through Orchha to Khajuraho.

At the half way point in the holy city of Allahabad, guests visit the city’s 16th century built fort on the shore of two of India’s greatest water bodies, the Ganges and Yamuna.

On the home stretch the tour then travels through the city of Varanasi where guests experience the region’s unique Ghats; a set of stairs leading to holy waters before boarding an early morning river cruise to witness the devotees paying homage to the sun God.

The tour comes to an end in Lucknow where after a day of exploring travellers board train ride back to Delhi, undisputed the best way to experience the beauty of India, and then returning to Australian home ports.
