General manager, Martin Edwards said that despite the short month sales and numbers of passengers to Africa exceeded all other monthly  records set over recent years as the company went through its major expansion.

Saturday marked the passing of 45 years since former London sales manager for South African Airways, Charles Bench opened the doors of his one-man operation in Sydney’s Pitt Street.

Bench sold his interest in the company about eight years ago but continues to promote his love of Africa, its wildlife and culture by attending some of the company’s promotional functions.
